Woman alligator hunter catches record-breaking 13ft-long reptile in Mississippi river

A female seeker has found a record-softening 13ft gator up a Mississippi stream. Tiffany Wienke had just been chasing the creatures twice before she trapped the mammoth, which measured an enormous 311kg (49st), on Saturday night.

She was with a gathering of six, who had been looking the waters for 20 hours, when they kept running into the 13 feet and 7/8 inch-long croc at Bayou Pierre. 

The animal is only one-eighth of an inch longer than the past record. 

Tiffany told MS News Now : "He ran us - truly slammed us into a few trees, and bank-to-bank. 

"He was pulling this watercraft brimming with individuals like it was nothing." 

She said that to get the gator in the watercraft its head must be nestled into one corner with its tail achieving as far as possible up to the opposite side and laying up on the inverse deck. 

She included: "We're totally content with the way that this will most likely be the greatest croc that we'll ever get." 

The Mississippi Department, Fisheries and Parks have urged seekers to keep hunting the dilutes more crocodiles notwithstanding the record-breaking find. 

They affirmed the record on their Facebook page. 

Composing a post, it said: "New record length male crocodile on open waters taken by the chasing gathering of Tiffany Wienke from Vicksburg, MS. It beat the past record by only 1/8". 

"The crocodile measures 13' 7/8" and weighed 686 lbs with a paunch circumference of 59" and tail bigness of 43". 

It was taken from Bayou Pierre in the SW Zone."
